Planted with love ...

Using the herbs

Our guests are always welcome to enjoy the herb garden in a number of ways - not simply as a place of peace and reflection. The herbs grown here are harvested regularly and are used in many ways in the hotel and restaurant:

aromen   tee   krautersalz   massage

Freshly cut in the summer, dried or frozen in the winter, the varied fragrances form the basis for our fine cuisine - from Mediterranean to hearty Swabian - from rosemary to lovage. Entirely naturally - without any flavour enhancers.   A large area of the herb garden is dedicated to tea herbs. The tea blends on offer in the mountain guest house are biologically cultivated here, harvested by hand, gently dried and blended according to our own ¬recipes. You can also purchase these herbal tea blends and herbal salt from the hotel shop to take home with you.   The herbal salt is produced from carefully harvested and dried herbs, blended with Himalayan rock salt. Parsley, chives, oregano, tarragon, thyme, rocket, lovage and basil in a balanced blend form the tasty seasoning base for fine cuisine. And our herbal salt is also a very tasty condiment for the dinner table.   The herbs also reveal their soothing effect on the body and soul in various applications in our spa complex. Experience this natural power, e.g. with a herbal stamp massage or in a herbal hey bath.
